The Katun Road is the “land of shepherds and cheese.” This area in northeastern Montenegro touches and at points crosses over into Kosovo. This region has been a corresponding highland for villagers during the summer months for generations. It was opened to outsiders in 2017 and still offers hikers and mountain bikers access to unspoiled nature as well as a look into traditional ways of life.
