There is something special about the Balkan peninsula. While all the world holds great allure for us, somehow we developed a unique love for this region and the people that live here. It is changing us–mostly for the better. And we are trying to return the favor in kind. Because of this, we want to use our lessons learned and network of friends to help you discover this amazing place. We are excited about unlocking the Balkans for you.
Our expats have been answering questions for a couple of years now for family and friends that visit. Our nationals have been answering questions a lot longer. Everyone that we have consulted so far has survived and had a good time, so we feel somewhat qualified to extend our help to you. We don’t promise to know the answer to every question, but we’ll share what we do know and ask around when we can help.
We are glad to be Unlocking the Balkans for you. Some common areas where we have fielded questions include:
- consulting on itineraries to help people know what is reasonable since we have traveled a good bit of the area
- giving ideas of things to do and see
- providing input on a range of logistical travel questions including places to stay, transport options, food expectations, currency, border crossings, etc.
We can help with the above type of questions for the Balkan peninsula countries. These include: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.
To continue to share good stuff about the Balkans with you, we’ll add you to our email list for monthly updates. Also, we may suggest some of the experiences from our modular booking system that we are putting together if it would be a good fit for you. We feel these are amazing possibilities or we wouldn’t be partnering to make them available. However, we will suggest the best options we know of for you whether or not we have a partner relationship or not.
If we are able to help you out, we do ask that you tell others about us so that we can continue to do what we do as we build a viable venture and do good for others along the way. And if you have more questions about that, we are always happy to share.
