Bushcraft Expedition Skills Training in Durmitor – Montenegro
Bushcraft in Montenegro has a centuries old tradition in a land that is extremely beautiful and can be just as harsh. This 7-day expedition course takes place in some of the most extreme beauty and conditions in the country. In the Durmitor massif, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies an ever-changing bio and geological landscape. It offers its challenges for those that would learn the skills from the Scout and Woodlore courses and put them into practice in a mountain environment where conditions can change quickly.
During this course you will deal with building fire, traps, mapping, foraging, water purification, camping, improving shelter, woodcraft, fishing, and outdoor cooking. While learning and practicing your skills, you will see the less tamed parts that comprise Montenegro’s Wild Beauty. This course is ideal for adventure lovers that want to improve their skills, nature lovers, willing novices, photographers, and even those that want to get into the Bushcraft or adventure industry and want a hands-on CV-building experience.
You need to bring a sleeping bag and knife. You will be making temporary shelter, but use of a tent is optional. The bushcraft team always has a great time when they are in nature and want to share their passion for the great outdoors. Though this will be an intense 7 days in nature, it still holds true that Bushcraft in Montenegro is as much about living well as it is about surviving.

Wonderful Trip - Best guides and teachers
We spent 7 fabulous days in Durmitor with Kristjan as bushcraft teacher and his colleague Nenad as photographer and driver.
They both were excellent guides, very flexible and always eager to make the trip a joint venture, including our wishes, needs and ideas into their plans.
Kristjan is an excellent bushcraft teacher. He is always good hearted, very helpful and patient and has an answer to almost every question – and if not, he honestly tries to find it.
After one week we saw so much of Durmitor, we learned quite some bushcraft skills and most importantly found two good friends.
…not to mention all the bacon and sausages…thanks guys, it was a blast!
