Bushcraft in Montenegro comes from centuries of tradition of living off the land. The Bushcraft Montenegro team is reviving this tradition and teaching the skills learned from their ancestors and other Bushcraft experts. During this three day course you will learn key bushcraft techniques including safety and basic camp craft; how to use a bushcraft knife; making potable water in nature; basic orientation skills; fire lighting methods; shelter building; tying knots; foraging skills; making improvised traps; and wild cooking.
While learning bushcraft trade, you will also be taking in the beauty of the Skadar Lake area including boating on the lake and visiting an ancient monastery. This course is one of the best ways to take in the beauty that is Skadar Lake.
If you love nature or even want to learn to love nature and you enjoy quality time with caring, hospitable nationals, you will enjoy the Woodlore courses. You will have new skills, new memories, new friends, and a much better Facebook or Instagram feed than your friends. (smile)
While this experience provides great training for wild-camping enthusiasts or novices that want to learn, you can go as spartan as you like–or not. You need to bring a sleeping bag and knife. If you want to bring a tent or other gear for peace of mind, that is OK. The bushcraft team wants you to be comfortable and have a great experience. They always have a great time when they are in nature and want to share their passion for the great outdoors. Bushcraft in Montenegro is as much about living well as it is about surviving.
