Obradovic Family Home – Gusle Room for Rent – Montenegro
In the quaint village of Lubnice, there are several agritourism options, but for a small number of people on a budget, one stand-out option is a room in the Obradovic Family Home. In addition to having a room for rest, you will be able to enjoy the amazing organic, traditional foods that are grown just outside the house and at their nearby orchard. Bozana is an amazing cook and is representative of the ever-caring Montenegrin mother.
The Gusle room sleeps three people with one queen size and one single bed. The Montenegrin traditional instrument, the Gusle, is a one-stringed instrument that plays three full notes and a sharp. A key part of the Montenegrin oral tradition, the gusle player would strum the instrument while sharing story with a 10 syllable pattern for each line.
In Lubnice, you can explore village life including a range of foraging options. Besides all the organic goodness, you also have amazing nature in your temporary back yard. Some amazing adventure opportunities nearby include hiking, mountain biking, off-road adventures, and fly-fishing.

Absolutely fantastic!
An absolutely fantastic experience! The food was fantastic and the warmth and kindness of the hosts amazing! There was a lot of love and care put into everything the Obradovic family provided – the meals we had at dinner and breakfast (just wished we had more space to eat all of the great farm produce that was put on the table for us) – the room – and even waving us goodbye after our stay. A shame we had only one night because there was so much we would have loved to explore in the area. We definitely hope to be back – with a few words of Montenegrin at least so we can express our gratitude to Bozana and her husband!
