  1. Super friendly family experience

Lidija and Milos are the perfect hosts – so friendly and accommodating – we really enjoyed meeting them, their family and their neighbours on our week long stay and communicating via Google Translate provided a fun challenge for all of us.

The apartment was perfectly suited to our family of five – with sufficient beds for everyone, a modern lounge room and cooking facilities. We had several meals cooked by Lidija, all of which were delicious.

We stayed at Bulatovic in November and some terrible weather meant that not only were we stuck at home for a few days but were also without electricity. Lidija and Milos made sure we had gas stoves to cook on, brought us planinski caj (mountain tea) and local cakes in the afternoons, and invited us in for tea and chats.

By the end of the week, the kids were crawling on the laps of Grandma, Milos and Milos’s brother in law and giving Lidija hugs. Lidija brought them presents and I was presented with my own bunch of planinski caj by the neighbour upon departure.

Biogradska NP is just down the road – the walk around the lake is lovely and scenic, especially in Autumn. But there are also plenty of walking opportunities right from the house- including a walk up the mountain to Goles Katun and more gentle walks in the other direction.

This is a very comfortable place to stay near to Biogradska NP, especially if you are interested in meeting and enjoying time with local people.
